Jim Parkman is a highly touted and well respected litigator. His reputation for success, courtroom presence, and legal knowledge have made him one of the most sought after and top legal professionals in Alabama. During Jim’s 40 years of distinguished service as a plaintiffs’ and defendants’ attorney, he has been a part of litigating cases throughout the country, dealing with just about every type of legal issue. Jim is best known for his work as a lead counsel member in the 2005 HealthSouth case where he was able to get his client, the first CEO charged under the 2002 Federal Sarbanes-Oxley Law, a not guilty verdict in federal court.

Jim is a consummate professional, southern gentleman, and shrewd litigator. His tactful and poised approach to the issues, coupled with his depth of legal experience and knowledge, lend Jim to be a valuable part of the Parker Trial Law Team. As an “Of Counsel” team member, Jim primarily handles cases out of his Birmingham, Alabama office but serves the entire state as well. Jim is always eager to assist as legal advisor on any matters which arise for our team.
